Job summary

USIC is seeking field locators to identify and mark underground utilities across designated areas. You will drive a company vehicle, operate in outdoor conditions, and complete locate tickets with photos. Training is provided, and no prior locating experience is required, though experienced locators are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include locating telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer lines, while working daytime shifts and possibly overtime, weekends, or on-call hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficient with technology and maps/tickets.
• Able to pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently, marking locations and documenting finds.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Maintain accurate locate tickets and photos for each locate.
