Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking field locating technicians to locate underground utilities across residential and commercial sites. You will work with our company vehicle and advanced ticketing systems to document and mark utility locations.

No prior locating experience is required, but a safety focus, willingness to learn, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather are essential; overtime, weekend, and on-call shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Proficiency with technology and field systems.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities, including telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Mark the locations accurately and complete required documentation and photos.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
