Job summary

Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to perform vegetation inspections along power lines and facilities.

This outdoor role requires coordinating with utility clients, property owners, and contractors to ensure safe and compliant vegetation management across sites. The position emphasizes ISA Arborist certification, pre-inspection experience, and strong data collection skills in a nationwide growth context.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field and/or utility line clearance experience.
• ISA Certified Arborist required; TRAQ preferred.
• Pre-inspection experience required; ability to read maps and data.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual vegetation inspections along 21 kV lines and along transmission corridors.
• Inspect vegetation around power plants and Calpine infrastructure.
• Assign vegetation work to crews and audit contractor work.
• Complete annual inspection and audit reports; ensure safety and compliance.
