Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to work outdoors, coordinating with utility clients, property owners, and contractors to ensure safe vegetation management while protecting communities and power delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field; species identification and invasive species knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 10% regionally.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories; plan work for contractors.
• Gather and manage field data; species, size, distance from conductors.
• Validate data across databases; ensure accurate reporting.
• Safeguard employees and the public; enforce on‑the‑job safety practices.
