Job summary

Carolinaconduit is seeking a dependable General Construction Worker to install underground conduit systems for electrical utility projects. You will work outdoors in varying weather conditions, perform trenching and backfilling, and handle digging, shoveling, and material lifting with your crew.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and punctuality, with training provided for the right candidate and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground utility installation is a plus, but not required training provided for the right candidate
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Install underground conduit systems for electrical infrastructure in accordance with company and industry standards
• Perform work in and out of ditches, including trenching and backfilling as needed
• Engage in manual labor such as digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials (up to 65 lbs.)
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
• Always ensure job site cleanliness and safety
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and goals
• Operate and maintain company tools and equipment responsibly
• Occasionally drive company vehicles to and from job sites (valid driver’s license required)
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
