Job summary

Carolinaconduit is seeking a reliable General Construction Worker to join our field team. This role focuses on installing underground conduit systems for electric utility projects, requiring physical outdoor work and teamwork to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, capable of lifting up to 65 lbs, and comfortable working in varying weather. Training is provided; previous underground utility experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground utility installation is a plus, but not required; training provided.
• Physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Install underground conduit systems for electrical infrastructure in accordance with company and industry standards
• Perform work in and out of ditches, including trenching and backfilling as needed
• Engage in manual labor such as digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials (up to 65 lbs.)
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
• Always ensure job site cleanliness and safety
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and goals
• Operate and maintain company tools and equipment responsibly
• Occasionally drive company vehicles to and from job sites (valid driver’s license required)
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
