Lees Summit R-7 School District transportation department seeks a Transportation Coordinator for Trips and Activities to oversee field trip and activity transportation, coordinate staff and bus assignments, and manage related paperwork and costs.

The role reports to the Director of Transportation and requires effective communication with schools, drivers and staff, ensuring safe and timely student transport for special bus use and events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of district routing practices and maps.
• Experience scheduling field trips and activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with schools, staff and drivers.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Field Trip, Activities and other transportation needs for school buildings.
• Assign employees and buses to requests and provide routes/maps to drivers.
• Process paperwork and billing for approved transportation requests.
• Communicate with staff to keep information accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist in evaluating drivers and attendants and handle multiple projects with accuracy.
