Job summary

Syngenta Seeds Field Crops in Fargo, ND is seeking a field trials assistant to provide high-quality data through timely note collection and precise trial execution. You will support local trialing efforts, assist the Trialing Manager’s goals, and help drive data-driven decisions for future products.

Ideal candidates have an agriculture-related degree, familiarity with precision ag equipment, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field preferred.
• Experience with precision agriculture equipment and software systems.
• Understanding of trial data precision and accuracy.
• Ability to use MS Office and data tracking tools.
• Strong team collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform seasonal field trial tasks and note collection.
• Operate and maintain agricultural equipment and trial tools.
• Support data integrity of seed packaging, field layout, and data collection.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and training.
• Supervise third‑party labor and Syngenta staff to achieve data-driven results.
• Coordinate planting, phenotyping, pollinating, and harvesting activities.
• Communicate project status regularly with peers and supervisors.
