Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math skills with algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to read roadway and structure plans and contract specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of roadways and structures construction operations and perform calculations with supervision.
• Perform materials sampling and testing; collect weigh tickets and conduct roadway tests.
• Monitor and perform inspection work on highway projects and maintain daily project records.
• Take field measurements and calculate contract pay quantities from plans and blueprints.
