Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Construction Inspector for WVDOH projects in North Central West Virginia. The role involves performing field inspections on transportation construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, and documenting daily progress.

The candidate will travel to sites across the state and may work extended hours with overnight stays. Ideal candidates hold WVDOH inspection and materials testing certifications, have knowledge of WVDOH

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field with four years of relevant experience or
Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related field with six years of relevant experience or
No degree with at least eight years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

Provide inspection services for transportation construction projects.
Ensure work and materials comply with proposal, plans, and specifications.
Perform measurements, calculations, and prepare 'as-builts' during progress.
Document inspected work daily and maintain records.
Travel to construction sites across West Virginia; valid driver's license required.
Extend hours and overnight stays may be required.
