Job summary

PCI Memphis is seeking a Trade Coordinator to support branch strategy discussions, establish goals and training plans, and partner with branch Superintendents to improve processes for field crews in Memphis, TN.

The role requires 5+ years leading commercial crews, strong Procore and Office skills, and excellent communication. Local candidates with safety certifications are preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience running crews on commercial projects.
• Security clearances, required certifications, safety training, licensing.
• Advanced proficiency with Procore.
• Ability to communicate with crews and General Contractor regarding Schedule and efficiency.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to learn new job skills on the fly.
• Customer service skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of common trade tools, equipment, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Participate in branch strategy discussions with branch leadership.
• Establish goals, measurables and accountabilities.
• Participate in PCI’s safety program with an emphasis on the crews they train.
• Attend all meetings and trainings of the Construction Department.
• Work with the branch Superintendent(s) to improve crew processes.
• Establish a training program tailored to individuals’ needs and certifications.
• Identify future Leads from the field crew.
• Maintain apprentice-to-journeyman mix by building competencies early.
• Establish a mentorship program to drive best practices and development.
• Review Labor Control weekly with crew leads.
• Accurately report time for a Union Hourly position.
• Maintain current OSHA 30 certification and other required certifications.
• Participate in evaluations for the Foreman Supplemental Bonus Program.
• Focus on quality assurance to ensure installations meet plans and specs.
