Job summary

Subaru of America is seeking a seasoned Training Manager to lead the localized technical training program and Area Training Center (ATC) operations. You will develop technicians across all levels, ensure high-quality instruction, and align training with Subaru and industry standards.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners, manage facilities and assets, and drive initiatives like Subaru-U and STATURE to strengthen retailer capabilities and customer loyalty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or HS diploma with equivalent automotive-related work experience in lieu of degree and 6–8 years' experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• ASE certifications listed in qualifications including L1, L3, L4 and A1–A8 are required/strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality technical training facilitation for retailer technicians and internal field staff across a broad curriculum portfolio.
• Provides comprehensive assessment of students and completes evaluations.
• Educates and promotes Subaru Technical Training programs and initiatives such as STATURE, Pinnacle, and Subaru-U to local retailers and field staff.
• Plans and manages ATC operations and administrative needs to meet metrics like calendars, STTR, and Dispatch scores.
• Implements ATC policies to ensure consistent retailer experience and SOA compliance.
