Job summary

Subaru of America is seeking a skilled automotive technician to diagnose and repair Subaru vehicles using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. The role requires maintaining ASE Master Certifications and completing Subaru technical training to stay current with advanced automotive technology.

You will prepare new vehicles for delivery, support NASI and other SOA departments on special projects, mentor new hires, and contribute to quality reports.

Qualifications

• Subaru Master Technician certification
• ASE Master certification for all 8 ASE domains
• Strong diagnostic and reporting abilities
• Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs Subaru vehicles.
• Remains current with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Performs pre-delivery inspection (PDI) on test/employee-owned/press vehicles; prepares used vehicles for sale.
• Provides QMR reports to Technical Service sections.
• Mentors new hires and interns during orientation.
• Participates in special projects (port rectifications, time studies, prototype installs, press introductions, service bulletin development).
• Maintains equipment and shop area; orders supplies as needed.
