Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Trainer and Technical Support Representative to join our Burr Ridge, IL team. You will develop equipment owner and service provider competency in installing Hydra-Stop products and maintaining Hydra-Stop equipment to help ensure customer satisfaction and build customer advocacy.

You will train and support our equipment owners and service provider network, travel extensively, document procedures, and coordinate demonstrations and training for the Hydra-Stop commercial team.

Qualifications

• Three years of potable water distribution system maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• Experience with line tapping, line stopping, and valve insertion installations preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and technical support to equipment owners and service provider network.
• Travel up to 75% of the time with short notice.
• Document written procedures and training reports.
• Provide training for Hydra-Stop commercial team members.
• Manage and schedule demonstration and training equipment.
• Meet and exceed individual goals and objectives.
• Daily and weekly reporting of activities and schedules.
• Abide by on-the-job site safety requirements.
• Provide cross-functional support to Hydra-Stop engineering, production, and quality functions as requested.
• Complete Special Projects as requested.
