Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have TIG Welding experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for TIG welding in Fab Shop.
• Assists with the layout of work projects.
• Follows all OSHA and TP Mechanical Contractors standards for safety.
• Keeps equipment in good working order and ensures proper maintenance.
• Keeps work area clear of unnecessary clutter.

Skills

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to use weld pipe positioner

Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation

Working knowledge of all hand and power tools

Ability to work within precise limits of accuracy

Basic math skills

Ability to pass a pipe test (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW)

Education

High School or GED equivalent
