Job summary

TP Mechanical is seeking an experienced TIG welder for our Cincinnati fab shop. You will weld in a fabrication environment, read blueprints, and assist with project layouts while following OSHA and TP Mechanical safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of TIG welding experience, strong knowledge of pipe fitting, and proficiency with pipe positioners and common hand tools. High school diploma or GED required; OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Tig welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Experience with pipe tests (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW).
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in welding shops.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Tig welding in Fab Shop.
• Assists with the layout of work projects.
• Follows all OSHA and TP Mechanical Contractors standards for safety.
• Keeps equipment in good working order and insures proper and timely maintenance is performed on equipment.
• Keeps work area clear of unnecessary clutter and performs routine clean‑up as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
