Job summary

Compass Pathways is launching a novel mental health therapy with a field-based Therapeutic Sales Specialist driving adoption at certified treatment centers across a wide territory including major US markets. You will work with psychiatrists, healthcare providers, and integrated care systems to align with regulatory and patient access frameworks.

You will educate providers, identify suitable patients, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and treatment workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience with specialty treatment centers, IDNs, or complex site-of-care models preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement and site-of-care dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers with referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding and treatment delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, including scheduling and patient flow for the treatment model.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and payer challenges.
• Gather actionable field insights to inform brand strategy and patient journey optimization.
• Manage territory business planning, including call planning and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant and patient-centric engagements.
