Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy at certified treatment centers. This field-based role requires building deep clinician relationships, educating providers, and navigating reimbursement and site-of-care dynamics across a broad US territory.

You will engage psychiatrists, healthcare providers, and integrated care systems while ensuring regulatory and patient-access alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, buy-and-bill, and payer processes.
• Demonstrated success in launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and behavioral health systems.
• Deliver compliant, scientifically accurate education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers with referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to onboard and optimize delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics including scheduling and patient flow.
• Work with Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Ops to ensure coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and provider challenges.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory planning, call plans, and performance tracking.
