Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Field Tester I to perform manual testing of autonomous vehicles in real-world environments, including off-site locations. You will execute test plans, operate heavy equipment, and assist in ramp-up with safety compliance.

You will collaborate with Scrum teams to validate software releases, document defects in JIRA/Jama, and collect data to verify system functionality. Travel up to 90% is required for field and off-site testing.

About the Role

• Field Tester I primarily focuses on physical vehicle testing in controlled test environments and off-site locations.

All levels require individuals who are mentally and physically comfortable learning how to operate and test construction/heavy equipment during a two-week on-site ramp-up period.

Job Duties

Field Tester I Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test plans on autonomous vehicles in real-world environments.
• Operate and control heavy equipment and test vehicles under various conditions.
• Work closely with scrum teams to conduct user-acceptance testing for software releases.
• Identify, document, and report defects using JIRA and Jama (bug tracking tools).
• Collect and analyze test data to validate system functionality.
• Assist in on-site and off-site testing, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Regularly lift and carry test equipment as needed.

Travel Requirements

• Field Tester I: Up to 90% travel for on-site and off-site vehicle testing.
