Job summary

Global Connect Technologies seeks a Field Test Engineer to perform hands-on field validation of agricultural machinery under real-world and simulated conditions. You will work with engineering teams to validate performance, collect instrumentation data, and report results.

The role requires hands-on experience with outdoor equipment, strong data interpretation skills, and effective communication with dealers and farmers. Collaboration across design and manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in field testing of agricultural/marm product equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with data acquisition methods and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of vehicle subsystems (powertrain, hydraulics, electronics) is a plus.
• Experience with Jira or similar tracking tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation plans and tests on field equipment in real-world or lab conditions.
• Set up and monitor test equipment and prototypes for reliable results.
• Collect and analyze data on noise, vibration, speed, torque, hydraulics, and sensors.
• Interpret results and identify performance trends or anomalies.
• Troubleshoot issues and document test outcomes clearly in reports.
• Support root-cause investigations with detailed data and observations.
• Inspect and update pre-production machinery to maintain readiness and safety.
• Prepare test setups including calibration and instrument verification.
• Collaborate with design, software, and manufacturing teams on findings.
• Interact with dealers and farmers professionally while protecting confidentiality.
