Job summary

Meyer Lab is a US-based chemical manufacturer seeking a Sales Manager for the Fort Worth territory. You will hunt for new industrial opportunities, develop customized chemical programs, and close new business using Meyer's proven sales process.

Expect heavy cold calling, 6–8 sales calls daily in the field, and travel within the territory. This role offers a base salary plus commissions, with strong advancement prospects in a rapidly growing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in a chemical/industrial context.
• Strong leadership and ability to work with sales support colleagues.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business opportunities, heavy cold calling and prospecting daily.
• Average 6–8 scheduled sales calls per day in the field, with one at‑home-office day per week.
• Grow the territory by acquiring new business.
• Perform administrative duties: calendar management, notes, and entering sales orders in Oracle Netsuite CRM.
• Travel up to a 250‑mile radius weekly, with potential for up to 2 overnights a month.
