Job summary

HOLT CAT in Georgetown, TX, seeks an Asset Technology Field Technician I to install, service, and upgrade telematics devices on Cat heavy equipment in the field. You will read wiring diagrams, use hand tools, test firmware, and configure PCs while ensuring safety and adherence to our values.

This role requires at least a high school diploma, 1+ year in electrical troubleshoot or repair, and a valid driver's license; associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• More than one year of electrical troubleshooting or repair experience required; three or more years preferred.
• Additional technical training and/or Associates Degree in related field preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Install telematics devices on heavy equipment in the field, including wiring, firmware updates, and PC configuration.
• Repair and upgrade telematics components and firmware on equipment in the field.
• Troubleshoot telematics components and read wiring diagrams.
• Train customers on machine telematics products.
• Travel up to 100% with overnight stays up to twice per month.
