Job summary

Holt Group in Georgetown is seeking an entry-level Field Maintenance Technician 1 to perform preventative maintenance on equipment and report issues using Holt Cat’s digital tools. You will coordinate with dispatch, confirm job requirements with customers, and support service operations from a field role.

This position is entry level, generally with less than one year of experience, and operates under supervision with pre-established guidelines. CDL progression is required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to one year of experience with field or shop preventive maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record required.
• Must be able obtain a Class B CDL within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards Holt’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools and processes.
• Performs high quality preventative field maintenance work and electronic inspections on equipment.
• Effectively maintains and communicates a field service schedule to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Desires to challenge self with an abundance mindset to achieve highest levels of performance and quality.
• Adaptable and understanding of changes to schedules and timelines.
• Accurately obtains, packages, and submits required compartment fluid samples daily.
• Maintains appearance and operation of service truck to ensure productivity and professional representation to Holt customers.
• Work Order Efficiency- 5% or higher for reviewed time period.
