Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Installer DC (Level II) based in the MD/Eastern PA region. The role involves installing DC power infrastructure, passive equipment, cable racks, and related cabling under supervision, with hands-on training and progression toward Level III.

Travel to customer sites, including overnight stays, is required. The package includes tools and a company vehicle for assignments, with benefits coverage beginning on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications installation tools and cabling practices.
• Ability to pull and sew cable, prepare cable runs, and follow cable run lists.
• Basic wiring knowledge, including small-wire color codes.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Install or remove non-powered or passive equipment under lead direction.
• Build cable racks, prepare runs, pull and sew cable per project specs.
• Assist with equipment setup, positioning, and cable stands.
• Identify color codes and manage wire connections on non-working equipment.
• Use hand/power tools, apply labels, and perform verifications under supervision.
• Assist with inventory, staging, and maintaining a clean jobsite.
• Complete timesheets and document work performed and conditions.
• Collaborate with installation team to complete work on schedule.
• Follow EHS, PPE and regulatory requirements and report unsafe conditions.
