Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Installer DC (Level II) to support installation of DC power infrastructure, passive equipment, and cabling.

You will work under a lead installer, perform wiring and lead verification tasks, and travel to customer sites within assigned regions while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment. The role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of telecom installation practices, and proficiency with common office software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required as a baseline credential.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications installation tools and cabling practices.
• Ability to pull and sew cable, prepare cable runs, and follow cable run lists.
• Basic wiring knowledge and ability to identify small-wire color codes.
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools and with written and verbal instructions.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Install or remove non-powered or passive equipment and hardware under supervision.
• Build cable racks, prepare cable runs, and pull and sew cables per project specs.
• Assist with equipment setup, cable stands, and related supports.
• Identify cable color codes and modify switchboard wiring on non-working equipment only.
• Use hand and power tools safely and apply labels.
• Complete lead verification and basic electronic testing under supervision.
• Assist with inventory, staging, and documentation of work performed.
