Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. seeks a Telecommunications Installer DC (Level II) to support installation of DC power infrastructure, passive equipment, and cabling. This field-based role requires regional travel, with overnight stays as needed, and will be based in the Eastern PA area.

You will gain hands-on experience under supervision, progressing toward Level III Installer through a structured qualification process. The company provides tools, a vehicle, and benefits starting on hire date.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to travel to customer sites, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Install or remove non-powered or passive equipment and hardware under the direction of a lead installer.
• Build cable rack, prepare cable runs, pull and sew cable according to project requirements.
• Assist with equipment setup and positioning, including cable stands, BDFBs, and jack stands.
• Identify small-wire color codes and add or remove switchboard cable wiring and connections on non-working equipment only.
• Safely use hand and power tools, cable cutters, and crimping tools, and apply required cable and equipment labels.
• Perform lead verification and electronic testing tasks under supervision.
• Assist with inventory and staging of tools, equipment, and materials, and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
• Complete timesheets and documentation of work performed, materials used, and site conditions.
• Work cooperatively with the installation team to complete work on schedule.
• Follow EHS, PPE, network safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Report unsafe conditions and discrepancies to the lead installer or supervisor.
