Job summary

OmniOn Power is seeking a Telecommunications Installer DC (Level II) to support installation of DC power infrastructure, passive equipment, and cabling at customer sites. Travel within assigned region, including overnight stays, is required.

The role reports to the Regional Service Leader and includes use of company tools and vehicle during assignments. Responsibilities include building cable racks, pulling and sewing cables, equipment setup, verification tasks, and maintaining safe, organized

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED.
Basic knowledge of telecommunications installation tools and cabling practices.
Ability to pull and sew cable, prepare cable runs, and follow cable run lists.
Basic wiring knowledge, including identification of small-wire color codes.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools and follow written and verbal instructions.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites, including overnight stays and periodic travel outside the assigned region.
Ability and willingness to work varying shifts.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to meet hotel check-in and rental vehicle eligibility requirements for business travel.

Responsibilities

Install or remove non-powered or passive equipment and hardware under the direction of a lead installer.
Build cable rack, prepare cable runs, and pull and sew cable according to project requirements.
Assist with equipment setup and positioning, including cable stands and jack stands.
Identify small-wire color codes and adjust switchboard cable wiring on non-working equipment.
Safely use hand and power tools and apply required cable labels.
Perform lead verification and electronic testing under supervision.
Assist with inventory and staging of tools, equipment, and materials.
Complete timesheets and documentation of work performed.
Work cooperatively with the installation team to meet schedule.
Follow EHS, PPE, and regulatory requirements.
Report unsafe conditions or discrepancies to the lead installer.
