Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Installer DC (Level II) to support the installation of DC power infrastructure and related cabling. This field-based role involves hands-on work, under supervision, with a clear path to Level III as you gain qualification.

The position requires travel to customer sites, including overnight stays within an assigned region, and use of company-provided tools and vehicles. Benefits begin on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; basic knowledge of telecom tools and cabling.
• Ability to pull and sew cable, prepare cable runs, and follow cable run lists.
• Basic wiring knowledge and color-code identification.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid driver’s license; ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and common office software.

Responsibilities

• Install or remove non-powered or passive equipment and hardware under supervision.
• Build cable racks, prepare runs, and pull and sew cables per project requirements.
• Assist with equipment setup and positioning, including cable stands and jack stands.
• Identify color codes and manage wiring on non-working equipment only.
• Use hand and power tools safely and apply labels to cables/equipment.
• Complete lead verification and basic electronic testing under supervision.
• Assist with inventory, staging, and keeping the worksite organized.
• Document work performed, materials used, and site conditions.
• Collaborate with the installation team to meet schedules.
• Follow EHS, PPE, and regulatory requirements; report unsafe conditions.
