Job summary

Sebastian is a premier provider of communications and construction services in California, seeking a Residential Service Technician I to identify paths of wires, pipes, and conduits underground and to assist with installations and maintenance of telecom and broadband services.

You will locate and mark cables, update location data in the ticketing system, and coordinate with contractors and property owners while contributing to a safety-conscious work culture.

Qualifications

• Must comply with all company policies and safety procedures.
• Able to participate in a team environment and support company values.
• Valid California driver license and favorable DMV record are required.
• Basic computer skills with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground copper and fiber optic cable and conduit.
• Maintain and update customer location information in the USA ticket management system.
• Communicate with contractors/property owners regarding property locates.
• Assist with new telecommunication and broadband service installations.
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting and repair of telecommunication and broadband services.
• Assist with inside wire and ONT installation and troubleshooting.
• Assist with maintenance of telecommunication and broadband infrastructure.
• Assist outside plant technicians and other departments as needed.
