PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc., based in Los Angeles, is seeking a Field Technology Specialist (Construction) to support field operations with IT infrastructure, remote access, and on-site server administration.

You will resolve user problems, deliver training, and ensure reliable technology resources across California projects. The role offers salary between $70,000 and $94,000 and opportunities for growth within our employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related discipline.
• Co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work.
• Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of change management methodologies an asset.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Resolves user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for handling support cases.
• District jobsite setup and turndown, including remote support.
• Delivers technical training and other knowledge resources.
• Administers and monitors district office and construction site server resources and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation, and responds to issues.
• Accurate and timely logging of problems, and resolutions to problems, in problem-management database.
• Provides implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives.
