Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Field Technicians at levels 3 or 4 to support inspection, maintenance, transport, and on-site assembly of high-value weapons and ground support equipment. The role requires adherence to precise procedures and strong safety discipline.

The position involves frequent travel, lifting heavy equipment, and potential overtime. A Secret security clearance is required to start, with a pathway to Top Secret.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 4+ years hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting electronic or mechanical systems.
• Level 4 requires 6+ years hands-on experience; level will be determined during interview.
• Must be able to travel frequently and work at customer sites; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, assemble, disassemble, and maintain weapons systems components and support equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and structural systems; basic electronic troubleshooting.
• Maintain inventory accountability and document logs and turnover.
• Follow procedures with strict safety, quality, and technical order requirements.
• Coordinate with facilities, program managers, and contracting teams for site surveys and sustainment activities.
