Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Technician with Secret clearance to provide technical support to engineers, develop engineering documentation, and perform calculations and analyses. The role includes using PCs to generate reports and may involve testing and data collection for evaluation across electronic/mechanical systems.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of hands-on experience, familiarity with diagnostic tools, and a DoD Secret clearance with SAP

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience.
• 6 years hands-on experience installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting electronic/mechanical systems or field equipment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, test equipment, and standard maintenance practices.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with SAP approval capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
• Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas and preliminary analyses of data.
• Use PC in analyses and development of documentation/reports; conduct tests and record data for engineering evaluation.
