Job summary

Hunter Communications Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to install wireless, fiber, coax, voice, apps, and streaming services at homes and small businesses across Oregon and Northern California.

You will work outdoors, often at heights, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer communication to complete jobs promptly. This full-time role features 10-hour days with a Wed-Sat schedule, occasional travel, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Telecommunications experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• On-call availability including nights and holidays.
• Clean driving record; no major violations in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and service upgrades for wireless, fiber, coax, voice, apps, and streaming.
• Install and relocate outlets, routers, modems; manage wiring paths.
• Work at heights up to 35 feet on ladders or poles.
• Provide excellent customer service and educate customers on products.
• Train new Field Technicians and follow safety standards.
