Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools for repair of field facilities.
• Ability to obtain Ohio CDL and DOT authorization for intrastate driving within 3 months.
• Basic math, legible records, and clear written/spoken communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and be dependable.
• Ability to read gauges and dials.
• Certification to wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

Responsibilities

• Identify leaks, perform repairs, and replace services or portions of mains.
• Operate light earth-moving equipment (backhoe, side boom, tamper, hydra-crane) and maintain it.
• Transport equipment and materials to job sites.
• Assist crews with tie-ins, leakage repair and other construction operations.
