Job summary

Southern Star is hiring technicians to support DISH TV, Starlink Satellite Internet, and home entertainment products. The role offers paid training, a base hourly rate during training, and a guaranteed higher rate after training, with potential commissions.

You will work five days a week, including holidays, with Sundays and Mondays off. Benefits include 401K, PTO, life insurance, company vehicle after training, and a monthly device stipend.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to scale ladders up to 38 ft and navigate crawl spaces.
• Travel up to 20% of the time (lodging and per diem covered by SSI).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Sales: upsell products and services while installing DISH systems.
• Must have a clear Background, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Record.

Job description

Training/Base pay rate of $19.00 per hour. The Base rate increases by .50 upon completion of training.

We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $23.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.

If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don’t bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay. However, the earning potential is much higher!

Schedule:

This position requires working 5 days a week, which includes working on holidays. Your designated days off each week will be Sunday and Monday.

Bonus Opportunity:

Earn a Trained and Active Bonus of $1500.00, half of which you receive at approximately 60 days and the other at approximately 6 months.
