Job summary

Southern Star is hiring technicians to support DISH TV, Starlink Internet and home entertainment products. The role starts with a base pay rate of $19.00 per hour, increasing by $0.50 after training, with a guaranteed $23.00 per hour through the first 9 months.

After training, earnings can include bonuses and commissions, with first-year potential of $50,000–$60,000 and experienced technicians earning $60,000–$85,000+.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge; ability to scale ladders to 38 ft and access crawl spaces.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (lodging and per diem provided).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to upsell products and services during installations.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and have acceptable motor vehicle record.

Job description

Training/Base pay rate of $19.00 per hour. The Base rate increases by .50 upon completion of training.

We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $23.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.

If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don’t bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay. However, the earning potential is much higher!

Schedule:

This position requires working 5 days a week, which includes working on holidays. Your designated days off each week will be Sunday and Monday.

Bonus Opportunity:

Earn a Trained and Active Bonus of $1500.00, half of which you receive at approximately 60 days and the other at approximately 6 months.
