Job summary

Southern Star is hiring technicians to install DISH TV, Starlink Internet and home entertainment devices. The role offers paid training and aggressive earning potential backed by commissions and bonuses.

Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour during training, increasing by $0.50 on completion. A guaranteed $23.00 per hour is provided after training through the first 9 months, with first-year earnings commonly $50,000–$60,000 and experienced earners $60,000–$85,000+.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge and ability to scale ladders up to 38 ft and navigate crawl spaces.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time; lodging and per diem covered.
• Able to upsell products and services while installing DISH systems.
• Clear Background, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Record required.

Job description

Training/Base pay rate of $19.00 per hour. The Base rate increases by .50 upon completion of training.

We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $23.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.

If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don’t bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay. However, the earning potential is much higher!

Schedule:

This position requires working 5 days a week, which includes working on holidays. Your designated days off each week will be Sunday and Monday.

Bonus Opportunity:

Earn a Trained and Active Bonus of $1500.00, half of which you receive at approximately 60 days and the other at approximately 6 months.
