Shadeboys on-site installer role: work with the operations manager to install zip-track shades, awnings, screens and pergola structures at customers' homes or on restaurant patios.
You will learn the product, go through onboarding, and be trained to lead installations end to end. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with weekly invoicing and national travel as needed.
You will be on site with the operations manager, doing the work and talking to the customer while you do it. Both halves matter here. A shade install happens at someone's house or in the middle of a restaurant's patio during service — how you handle the person is as visible as how you handle the bracket.
The path is explicit: learn the product and the standard, then get trained to run your own installation team. We are telling you that now because it is the reason the role exists, not a hypothetical we would hint at in a year.
$20–$38/hr. Hourly, invoiced weekly. Where you sit in the range moves as you take on measurement and then crew responsibility.
Every hire, in every role, starts with a written 60-month plan built with you in your first weeks. It has three lines — personal, professional and financial — and it is what the regular PPF meetings review. From installer to running your own installation team — the reason this role exists.
