Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time equipment operator to support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation projects. You will perform operation and maintenance of all equipment, follow safety protocols, and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours daily.
• Able to enter confined spaces.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Able to wear required PPE (hard hat, vest, boots, glasses) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment used in sewer maintenance and rehabilitation tasks.
• Support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation projects.
• Make routine decisions and take direction from supervision.
• Work in extreme cold and heat for long durations.
• Lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs as required.
