Vortex Companies, LLC in Richmond, VA is hiring a CDL Technician to support sewer and storm water infrastructure projects. You will join a safety-focused team performing inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation work on underground pipelines, with hands-on field tasks and equipment operation.

The role requires 3–5 years' experience with Class A or B vehicles, a tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain one, and ability to pass drug tests and DOT physical.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience operating Class A or B vehicles; Vac Truck preferred.
• Tanker endorsement required or willing to obtain.
• Willing to learn and operate other company equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, DOT physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manual labor tasks including lifting and carrying material.
• Operate CDL vehicle and equipment.
• Enter manholes and underground structures as needed.
• Monitor pump operations and support inspections.
