Job summary

Palm Construction Group is seeking a Field Technician to perform general maintenance and repair tasks at our San Diego-area facility. The role requires hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and related trades, with a focus on keeping equipment and spaces in optimal condition.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot issues, communicate clearly, and work independently to complete service requests.

Job Summary

This is a full-time role for a Field Technician at Palm Construction Group. The role involves conducting equipment maintenance, facility maintenance and repair tasks, building maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functioning of the facilities. The Maintenance Technician MUST be Skilled in general maintenance (plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, etc.).

The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and be able to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks, such as repairing, replacing, and troubleshooting, to ensure proper operation.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Capable of communicating and updating all notes required for each service request to ensure we have a detailed description of your findings in the field, accurate records of maintenance activities, and equipment inventory.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
