Palm Construction Group is seeking a Field Technician in Long Beach to perform equipment and facility maintenance, repair tasks, and troubleshooting to ensure facilities operate smoothly. The role requires general maintenance skills (plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, etc.).

The ideal candidate should work independently, communicate clearly, and be able to handle on-call emergencies, with weekends or evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license; valid vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This is a full-time role for a Field Technician at Palm Construction Group. The role involves conducting equipment maintenance, facility maintenance and repair tasks, building maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functioning of the facilities. The Maintenanc eTechnician MUST be Skilled in general maintenance (plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, etc.). The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and be able to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks, such as repairing, replacing, and troubleshooting, to ensure proper operation.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Capable of communicating and updating all notes required for each service request to ensure we have a detailed description of your findings in the field, accurate records of maintenance activities, and equipment inventory.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
