Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. is seeking a Field Technician Turn to expedite tenant turns and uphold property quality across a portfolio of single-family homes. You will manage inventory, coordinate move-outs, inspect contractor work, and provide hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting at properties.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic hand/power tool skills, and OSHA awareness. Prior maintenance experience and EPA/HVAC certifications are preferred for success in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum two years inResidential/Property Maintenance or five years in lieu of education.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools required.
• Experience with Apple iPad, HVAC, Resco, and CRM preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property inventory to standards via tenant turns and inspections.
• Coordinate move-outs, key exchanges, and condition assessments.
• Inspect contractor work for quality and adherence to standards.
• Attend eviction set outs and hearings as needed.
• Perform self-work at properties using ladders and tools as per guidelines.
• Provide troubleshooting for plumbing, garage doors, irrigation, and electrical issues.
