Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. seeks an Engineering Technician V to support depot-level testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of EW assets.

Work will begin at the customer’s facility and later move to a contractor-operated depot, with in-person duties and ongoing coordination with program management. Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) with extensive hands-on electronics experience, ability to read schematics, operate test equipment, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Ten years of related experience OR an Associate degree with six years of experience.
• Ability to interpret electronic schematics, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience using electronic test equipment to isolate faults and verify performance.
• Strong record-keeping for parts, inventory, and maintenance actions.
• Excellent communication with government customers, program management, and suppliers.
• Willingness to work initially at the customer site and transition to a contractor facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of EW assemblies and related equipment.
• Interpret schematics and manuals to identify failures and corrective actions.
• Operate test equipment (DMMs, scopes, analyzers, generators, power supplies).
• Document discrepancies, repair actions, and final test results with traceable records.
• Coordinate parts, track delivery, and manage inventory accountability.
• Maintain equipment calibration status and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Support transition of repair operations to contractor facility.
