Job summary

Qualifications

• CDL required and clean driving record.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar power generation systems.
• Experience starting up and commissioning power generation components.
• Experience working with customers, contractors, and contract documents.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and commissioning on Wheeler equipment.
• Handle engine/generator, ATS/switchgear, emission and fuel systems start-up.
• Develop customer operation and maintenance training.
• Oversee documentation for submittals, drawings, and manuals.
• Manage project schedule and ensure deadlines.
• Coordinate with sales, vendors, clients, and engineers.
• Provide on-site installation oversight and safety compliance.
• Support travel to job sites, including overnight stays.
• Maintain project profitability by managing expenses and change orders.
• Represent Wheeler at meetings and on the job site.
