Job summary

Mountain Engineering is seeking Field Technicians to support a pole system hardening project across the North Valley, Sierra, and Central Valley regions. Responsibilities include coordinating field activities with crews, homeowners, and project teams, inspecting poles, filing permits, and documenting work using Survey123 and ArcGIS Field Maps.

The 3-month project requires travel in rural and remote locations, strict safety practices, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience using ArcGIS Survey123 and Field Maps.
Ability to file and coordinate construction permits.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable communicating with homeowners and property owners in the field.
Ability to coordinate and direct construction crews.
Familiarity with construction equipment and field activities.

Responsibilities

Support pole inspection and system hardening in the field.
File and coordinate construction permits as required.
Contact homeowners and property owners to coordinate access and construction activities.
Coordinate and schedule construction crews to complete pole hardening work.
Provide crews with information and direction needed to complete assigned work.
Perform field audits and inspections to verify quality and compliance.
