Job summary

Hypertec is seeking Field Technicians to join our team in Texas. You will perform hardware installation projects, install and configure equipment, and conduct on-site testing and verification.

This role requires reading technical docs and collaborating with customers and project teams. The ideal candidate has 3 years of Field Technician experience, strong English communication, and the ability to travel frequently within the state or out of state.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Field Technician or similar in installation and maintenance of multidisciplinary products (hardware and software).
• Professional written & oral English communication skills.
• Availability and authorization to travel frequently within the state and/or out of the state.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installation projects and related technical tasks per work orders and project requirements.
• Install, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot, and remove equipment per project directives.
• Perform onsite installation, calibration, testing, repair, maintenance, and system verification activities.
• Read, interpret, and apply technical docs, schematics, diagrams, manuals, and installation instructions.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with onsite personnel, project teams, customers, contractors, and internal departments.
