Job summary

Papé DW, Inc. is seeking a Field Mechanic in Tukwila, WA to diagnose, service, and repair heavy construction equipment at customer sites. You will travel to active jobsites and work on trucks, trenching gear, and directional drills, ensuring peak performance and minimizing downtime.

The role requires 3+ years of field repair experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. CDL preferred and ownership of your own tools is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment.
• 2 years electrical and hydraulic diagnostic experience preferred.
• Must provide own tools and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair heavy trucks and trenching equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain issues.
• Repair engines, transmissions, drive systems, hydraulic pumps, valves, and more.
• Weld and fabricate as needed and travel to job sites in service vehicle.
