Job summary

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician/Mechanic to service construction and forestry equipment at customer sites in the Kent, WA area.

You will diagnose and repair diesel equipment, travel to customer sites in a fully equipped service vehicle, and ensure peak uptime with professional customer interactions. Requirements include 3+ years with heavy diesel machinery, basic computer knowledge, a valid driver’s license, own tools, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and drive.
• Ability to work under little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Being a journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation: $24.94-36.16/hr (Depending on Experience)
