Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Field Technician to join the Oklahoma City team. This entry-level role focuses on field observations and routine testing of construction materials under supervision, developing practical skills in soil, aggregates, and concrete testing.

No prior experience required; paid training is provided and certification fees are covered. You will support field data collection, reporting, and coordination with project staff while upholding ECS core values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• Obtain basic certifications per ECS Technician Policy
• Valid driver's license required if driving for ECS
• Good communication skills (verbal, written) are essential
• Ability to lift up to 85 lbs and perform field observations

Responsibilities

• Perform field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision.
• Assist with construction materials testing activities on project sites
• Communicate daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers
• Report changing site conditions and testing needs to supervisors
• Assist with preparation and submission of daily field reports
• Support basic calculations and data entry related to testing results
• Organize and maintain field equipment; notify supervisors of equipment issues
• Participate in project meetings with senior staff as needed
• Perform other field and project support duties as assigned
